Dr. Andy Vu is a board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon dedicated to providing exceptional surgical care with a patient-centered approach. At Lynn Haven Dental Specialists, Dr. Vu offers a full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery, including wisdom teeth removal, dental implants, bone grafting, oral pathology, facial trauma, and complex surgical reconstruction.

Originally from Los Angeles, California, Dr. Vu earned his bachelor's degree in Microbiology, Immunology, and Molecular Genetics from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). He then received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the New York University College of Dentistry before serving his country as a dental officer in the United States Army.

During his military career, Dr. Vu held numerous leadership positions, including Deputy Director of Operation Live Well in the Office of the Army Surgeon General at the Pentagon, Dental Service Chief at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, Dental Team Leader for the 62nd Medical Brigade during Pacific Partnership 2015, and Officer-in-Charge of a dental readiness clinic at Fort Jackson. His military service reinforced his commitment to clinical excellence, leadership, and compassionate patient care.

Following his Army service, Dr. Vu completed advanced specialty training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center, where he gained extensive experience treating complex surgical cases. His clinical interests include dental implants, complex dentoalveolar reconstruction, hard and soft tissue regeneration, digital implant planning, and corrective jaw (orthognathic) surgery.

Dr. Vu is passionate about combining advanced surgical techniques with the latest technology to provide predictable, long-lasting results. He believes every patient deserves personalized care and takes the time to ensure they understand their treatment options and feel comfortable throughout every step of the process.
